SPRING RESCUE ACT EARNS KILWORTH A POINT AT MARKET BOSWORTH
Ellie-Mae Spring's late corner helped AFC North Kilworth Women fight back from 2–1 down to secure a hard-earned 2–2 draw away at AFC Market Bosworth.
AFC North Kilworth Women showed considerable character to come from behind and claim a point in a dramatic second half against an AFC Market Bosworth side who arrived at the fixture with confidence following their 4–1 victory at Hinckley AFC.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Kilworth finally broke the deadlock through Anya Hawkins shortly before the hour mark.
However, the momentum shifted dramatically as Market Bosworth struck twice in quick succession to turn the game on its head.
Kilworth refused to fold.
