We caught up with Manager Michael Stevenson after the game to get his thoughts on Kilworth's historic opening-day victory.
š£ļø On seeing the work from training come together...
"It's been a great first game for the team and the club, and it couldn't have gone any better. Everything my staff have worked on with the players came to life during parts of the game."
š£ļø On the message before kick-off...
"Play our football, work hard for each other and protect each other."
š£ļø On keeping the squad grounded after a 5-0 win...
"The players know this is the first of 20-plus matches this season and there is a long way to go. We'll just enjoy today's result and then it's back to training on Wednesday."
š£ļø On when he felt the game was under control...
"I don't think you ever do. Anything can happen during a game and any one moment could have sparked a change in fortunes.
"Leicester were a good side and had their chances, so I personally don't ever feel we have the game won until around the 85th minute."
š£ļø On what the result means for the squad's confidence...
"It's everything. It shows the depth of the players we have in the squad. Leicester City are no walkovers and the players have had to work hard for this result all over the pitch."
"But for the players, staff, club and supporters who came to watch the game, it's just the start of what I believe they can achieve this season with the right mentality and belief."
